Šibenik’s advent fair, Adventura, has become one of the city’s best loved events that has been a recognised event at the national level also for its plastic free policy.

Croatian coastal town of Šibenik has been holding its favorite town manifestation, Šibenik’s Adventura, from St. Nicholas’ Day all the way to January 2019. While still highlighting the importance of ecological awareness, this year the new round of the only plastic-free Advent in Croatia will, besides the Robert Visiani Park, light up other parts of Old Town as well.

On December 6th, the program started the whole month festivities paired with performances by various musicians and bands that are daily playing on three different stages throughout the whole of December.

Like every year so far, Adventura will specially introduce events such as Fritulada, a gourmet competition in making “fritule” (traditional fritters) on Celebration Day. An especially interesting traditional humanitarian event will be the releasing of lanterns on Christmas Eve.

On the walking route from Parkić to Trgić, at the square in front of St. Francis’ Church, Sajmić – a fair for associations, small craftsmen and the owners of many handicrafts provide for a ich Christmas shopping. On this same route, Matija Gallery has become a home to Adventurica, a workshop for the youngest visitors and a place of continuous fun with a goal of raising ecological awareness with the help of the strategic partner Krka National Park.

For those who want to spend a crazy fun night, Šibenik will welcome the New Year with the program held on 3 stages simultaneously under the slogan 3 stages, 1 town.
